Conference sessions

Conference sessions will be held at Astro One and Two.

Trade show

Trade Show Trade show events will be held at the Frobisher Inn Conference Centre.

A licensed networking reception will be held on the trade floor on Tuesday, March 31 for registered exhibitors and delegates only.

The trade show will open on Wednesday, April 1 to exhibitors and delegates, members of the public, and high school students. Please see the schedule of events for trade show hours.

Town Hall

Town Hall1This year’s Town Hall meeting speaks to the overall theme of the Symposium, Looking Forward: Translating Challenges to Opportunities. The participating panelists are experts in their areas and will be certain to deliver a thorough look back at past challenges and offer predictions and suggestions for working collaboratively as the exploration and mining industry in Nunavut moves forward.

Panelists include: Honourable Peter Taptuna, Minister of Economic Development & Transportation, Government of Nunavut; Paul Quassa, Vice-Chair, Nunavut Planning Commission; Mike Vaydik, President, NWT & Nunavut Chamber of Mines; Rob Huebert, Associate Professor, University of Calgary; and Patricia Mohr, Vice-President, Economic & Commodity Market Specialist, The Scotiabank Group.

This year’s Town Hall will again be webcast live to all Nunavut communities in English and Inuktitut.
